How To Wear Pom Poms

Pom poms are having a fashion moment. Whether it's on the catwalk, high street, or adorning bloggers; pom poms have become stylish additions to any outfit. They're fun and quirky and if worn in the right way, they are so chic. No one want's to look like a clown at a children's party so make sure that you don't end up with pom pom overkill. To save you from this fate, I have put together some outfit ideas based around your favourite fluffy accessory!

These shoes are adorable and because black is muted colour, it prevents them looking too clownish. I love the slight heel they have too, perfect for us short girls! I'm completely obsessed with this necklace from Eclectic Eccentricity. They always have such a gorgeous range of interesting jewellery.

Don't want chilly feet? Try these flats instead:

This outfit looks very put together and polished with the gorgeous grey cape from Lavish Alice. These River Island heels are pretty out there, but pared with simple, classic pieces, they look like a statement rather than a costume. The Pieces bag looks way more premium than the £22 price tag too!

This look is much more casual than the previous two, with the necklace and hat as subtle nods to the pom pom trend. The Topshop leather jacket is gorgeous and though pricey, it's a great investment piece you can wear season after season. I am in love with these fringed boots from River Island. I bought them before going to Rome in at the start of the month and I just can't get enough of them!

Now a pom pom blog post would not be complete without featuring the bag charm trend which is everywhere at the moment. Italian design house Fendi kick started this trend, but unless you have £250 minimum to spare for one of their originals, here's some high street alternatives!
I hope this post gave you some fashion inspiration. Leave me a comment below and tell me what you think of the pom pom trend. Would you wear it?
