#Music Monday Week 20

#MusicMonday has had a little hiatus over the past month, as I just haven't been very organised at making time to blog. This week, however, it's back with a vengeance! As usual I have Sound Cloud and Spotify playlists full of the creme de la creme of the tracks I have been loving lately.

Sound Cloud
1. Jess Glynne- 'Right Here'
I LOVE THIS GIRL! You may recognise her voice from Clean Bandit's 'Rather Be' or Route 94's 'My Love'. I can't wait for her début album!

2. Flume- 'What You Need'
Who doesn't love Flume? I mean really?!

3.  FCL- It's You (San Soda's Panorama Bar Acca Version)
You may recognise this track from the current Tesco F+F Summer advert. It's actually older than you think, beginning it's life waaay back in 1986 under Chicago house duo ESP. This FCL rework by Red D and San Soda is pure Summer after-party vibes.

4. Yuna Zarai- 'Lights and Camera'
I found this track really randomly. Sometimes I'll leave Shazam on auto when I'm watching stuff on my iPhone so I can find out who tracks are by super easily. This happened to be in the background of a random Instagram video, and I fell in love.

5.  Yuna x Adventure Club - Lullabies (ViLLAGE Remix)
Who doesn't love a bit ViLLAGE? Seriously?!

6. Bipolar Sunshine- 'Deckchairs On The Moon'
I definitely think Bipolar Sunshine is someone to watch. This song kinda reminds me of something Pharrell might produce circa the N*E*R*D 'Fly or Die' album era. Talking of Pharrell...

7. Frontin' - Pharrell ft. Jay Z (Disclosure Re-Work)
This is one of my favourite songs, re-worked by one of my favourite artists to break out in the past couple of years. What's not to love?

8. Second City- 'I Wanna Feel'
So glad this track is getting heavy radio play. Makes my drive to and from work waaaaaay more bearable. Absolute summer anthem!

Spotify
1. MØ- 'Waste of Time'
Every track on MØ's No Mythologies To Follow is incredible. You may recognise this track from the Kopparberg cider advert, with the smashing ice and fruit.

2. I Break Horses- 'Weigh True Words'
Pretty sure this song got in my head after watching an episode of Made in Chelsea...

3. Katy Perry- 'Birthday'
I'm not the biggest K Pez fan in the world but I can't get enough of this track! Mainly from the line 'So let me get you in your birthday suit, it's time to bring out the big balloons'...

4. Ella Henderson- 'Ghost'
Okay so I don't usually like a lot that the X Factor chews up and spits out, but this track is actually great. Ella has a talented voice.

Special mention to Sam Smith's début album In the Lonely Hour. I have been listening to it non-stop since I downloaded the Deluxe Edition from iTunes. Beautiful and honest lyrics being sung by an incredibly talented artist. His voice has pure raw emotion and I can't get enough! I tried to put together playlists of the tracks but there wasn't a lot out there, so give it a download to find out how incredible it is for yourself!
