#MusicMonday Week 7

It's that time of the week again, Happy #MusicMonday! This week's playlists are a mix of new tracks and some newer material from artists I already love.

Spotify
First up is a track by Tinashé called '2 On'. This girl is quickly becoming a favourite of mine. You may remember that I included the Ryan Hemsworth's remix of her track Boss in the Soundcloud playlist from #MusicMonday Week 2. This song is reminiscent of classic Cassie from back in the day. Love it!
Next is LE YOUTH's latest offering, 'Dance With Me'. I've included this song because I started a new job last Monday, and Radio 1 play it A LOT when I'm driving to and from work.
Next up is 'Klapp Klapp', the new track from Little Dragon. This song has such a great vibe, it just makes me want to move.
Lastly, I've included a selection of my fave tracks from Katy B's new album 'Little Red'. I think it's some of Katy's best work so far, the album is so slick. Her duet with Jessie Ware is a particular highlight- you know how much I love that girl!

Soundcloud
Kicking this playlist off is a first taste of original solo material by Jess Glynne. You may recognise her name as she's been the vocalist on two huge songs; Route 94's 'My Love' [pretty much my favourite song of 2013] and most recently Clean Bandit's smash, 'Rather Be'. I'm so excited to hear more!
Talking of Clean Bandit, I was listening to their track 'Heart On Fire' pretty frequently last week. As you would expect from one of the biggest acts hitting the mainstream in 2014, its so good. Warning this track easily gets stuck in your head!
The next track is actually courtesy of my sister Imogen who told me to check it out. The title is 'Yoncé Gets Her Freak On', and it is, of course, a Beyoncé x Missy Elliot mash up by Audio Savage. There is nothing to dislike. This is gold.
Up next is Louis Futon's remix of Mos Def's 'Ms. Fat Booty'. This is another track that just makes me want to move. I think I discovered it when another artist reposted it on Soundcloud but I'm not sure.
Hot artist MNEK is at the centre of the next two tracks. One of the girls came into work last week singing the original Gorgon City feat. MNEK version of 'Ready For Your Love', and I then couldn't stop singing it either. So much so I had to listen to it when I got home. I ended up falling in love with the first stripped down version because MNEK's vocals sound so honest. Then the second track, his refix of the original, just appealed to me so much. It's slightly slowed down and a little sexier.
I've chucked in a track by TÂCHES because I seem to be hearing them everywhere atm. Good stuff!
Lastly, I've been checking out Claire Maguire's new material. I am in love! It is so beautiful and raw. She sings with real vulnerability and honesty. Quite a change from her first album, 'Light After Dark', which I also adore, but that's a good thing. My favourite so far is definitely 'Whenever You Want', if only for the line 'I don't wanna be alone, I just wanna have someone who laughs at my shit jokes'!
