After penning ‘I Don’t Care’, the number one
summer smash by Icona Pop, the name CHARLI XCX might sound familiar to you. Having
supported the likes of Coldplay, Santigold, Ellie Goulding and Marina and the Diamonds,
the 21 year old singer-songwriter is heading for the big time. With a new
single, Superlove, due December 1st, and plans to tour the US during
November, Charli (real name Charlotte Aitchison) is confidently stepping into the limelight. Her
edgy 90s inspired look is instantly recognisable. Coupled with her modelling
gig as brand ambassador for denim label Replay, as the face of their clubbing
inspired capsule collection, Laserblast; Charli XCX is making a name for
herself in the fashion world too.
